We are so excited to meet you and your pet. At the first visit we will get to know you and your pet, your pet’s background, health history, diet and training. It is a great time to address any questions or concerns you have. Your pet will be weighed and have a whole body exam. Specific recommendations will be made for your pet based on any physical exam findings and their lifestyle.
Please bring with you to the first visit:
- Any adoption or purchase records if it is a new pet to you.
- A list of current medications and supplements.
- Brand of food and feeding schedule/amount.
- A list of questions and concerns to discuss.
- Any previous medical records if they were not able to be emailed prior to your visit.
**Please arrive 10 minutes early if you were unable to fill out the form or have previous medical records emailed.**
Here are some things you can expect from us:
- To treat you and your pet with with kindness, compassion and respect.
- To have any questions or concerns you have answered thoroughly.
- For us to have fostered an environment in which you feel comfortable asking questions to explain any illnesses your pet has and discuss diagnostic and treatment options to inform you of the estimated cost for any tests or procedures.
- To follow your wishes in the care of your pet.

- To treat the staff and other clients with kindness, compassion and respect.
- To disclose relevant, accurate, and complete information about your pet’s history.
- To ask questions and make decisions in the care of your pet.
- To read and understand any consent forms or estimates that you sign.
- To accept the financial obligations you agreed to when your pet is seen at our hospital.
- To tell us if you have any concerns or are dissatisfied.
